TOWN OF KASTELA is located on the coast Bay, between Split, Solin and Trogir, cities that are under UNESCO protection. It has over 40,000 inhabitants and is the second largest city in the Split – Dalmatia County, and spans on 17 kilometers of coast. Another distinctive feature of the town is the fact that it developed around 7 settlements Kastel Sucurac, Kastel Gomilica, Kastel Kambelovac, Kastel Luksic, Kastel Stari, Kastel Novi and Kastel Stafilic.
Marina Kastela is located in the centre of the bay enabling the reception of private and charter boats and is a destination for nautical tourism.
Famous Botanical Garden in Kastel Luksic is a true eye feast with its abundance of plant species along with Biblical Garden in vicinity of historical Stomorija sanctuary.

CULINARY DELIGHTS With the sea and the sun, swimming and walking in the evening holding a variety of entertainment, taverns and restaurants serve up local specialties and a variety of seafood delicacies. It would be a sin to come to Kastela and not to visit the famous tavern Intrada in Kastel Novi or restaurant and Ballet School in Kastel Kambelovac. CASTLES Castles and forts make cultural  life of the Town interesting throughout the year. Castles make significant part of tourism offer, especially Vitturi Castle where the Town museum is located. Exhibitions, theater performances, concerts, folklore, fishing and hunting festivals are held in historical core most attractive areas .

TRIPS Cetina River is in vicinity known for rafting, beautiful Krka waterfalls, well known tourist centres Makarska, Baska Voda, Brela, Sibenik, and the islands of Hvar, Brac and Vis. Beautiful panoramic view on Kastela Bay from the slopes of Kozjak, and nearby is the famous Klis fortress from which a view of Split and the islands.
